Shenzhen's first online Telenovela

For those who do not know: A telenovela is a limited-run televison serial melodram of the type made famous in Latin America. We are still looking for some volunteers who want to join this project. The story will be split to 12 episodes. It is about a chinese girl which just have graduated from University and comes to Shenzhen to find a job. Along her daily life many good and bad things happens to her. She meets several interesting people, needs to make difficult decision for her life and of course she also falls in love with someone...

The story will play completely in Shenzhen and we are trying to shoot at some popular places and bars that are well known, so that the audience will get a Shenzhen feeling. If you are interested to join the project send us a mail to info@shenzhenking.com

Please note that this is a non-profit project. We are looking for volounteers who want to help to produce the film, every kind of support is welcome. We want to get people from many different contries and cultures together to work on an international project and hope to make it fun for everybody.

Examination Witch Project

We are planning to join the Examination Witch Project, a competition that refers to Paulo Coelho's latest book "The Witch of Portobello". Everybody is welcome to join, but the shooting will probably be in Singapore. The film has to be finished by end of May 2008.

Dating Show

Young, international crowd is producing fun video projects in Shenzhen. Currently, we are working on a cross-cultural dating show. If you have always wanted to join one of those crazy dating shows on MTV, but couldn’t make it to Hollywood, this is your chance. We still need fun loving and outgoing candidates, guys and girls, locals as well as foreigners. Who is running the show?

MAX from Germany has previously worked for Europe’s biggest private TV broadcaster, RTL. IAN from Singapore has done TV, film and photo shoots all over Asia. CHRIS from Austria has done media productions in Munich, Paris and Hollywood.
